Pascal Houillon, the CEO of Sage North America announced that the company is going to re-brand its accounting software. the announcement came in his keynote speech at Sage Summit 2010. Beginning in 2012 the companies Peachtree software will be branded as Sage 50 in North America. This is in alignment with how the software is branded in Europe.
