Beginning in 2011, to file a tax return for another person required a certification by the IRS. The goal was to increase the quality of returns filed. The House Ways and Means Oversight Subcommittee plans to hold meetings to review the new regulations. Public comment is welcome at The House Ways and Means Oversight Subcommittee here.
